Information you provide
If you email SpecAxle or submit a correction, SpecAxle receives the information you include, such as your email address, message, and supporting evidence. Do not send a vehicle identification number, door-jamb photograph containing personal details, or other sensitive information unless it is necessary for the correction.
Calculator and picker data
Vehicle selections, towing weights, and tire sizes are processed to produce the requested result. SpecAxle’s product-usage log records only the tool name, allowlisted action, coarse input mode, result state, and time. It does not store the submitted numbers or vehicle choice, IP address, user agent, cookie identifier, name, or email address in that log.
Technical delivery and security data
The web host, WordPress, and content-delivery or security provider may process request information such as IP address, browser and device details, requested URL, timestamps, and security signals. This processing is used to deliver pages, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and protect the service. Retention follows the operational and security settings of those systems.
Google AdSense and advertising cookies
When advertising is enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies, IP addresses, device identifiers, or similar technologies to serve, measure, limit, and protect ads. Depending on your region and choices, ads may be personalized or non-personalized. Retention
Correction correspondence is kept only as long as needed to investigate, document, and defend the correction decision. Aggregate tool events and operational logs are retained according to product, security, and hosting needs. Source documents and verification lineage are retained as editorial records and do not intentionally contain visitor personal data.
Your choices and requests
You may use browser cookie controls, Google Ads Settings, and the site’s consent controls where available. To request access, correction, or deletion of personal information that SpecAxle controls, use the contact page. SpecAxle may need enough information to verify and fulfill the request.
Children
SpecAxle is a vehicle reference service for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. SpecAxle does not knowingly request personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
Material changes will be published on this URL with an updated review date. Advertising will remain disabled if required disclosures or consent controls are not ready.
